Mediation

 

     If you and your partner have decided that separation and/or divorce is what's best for everyone involved, mediation could be an option for you. I help individuals and couples navigate the emotional rollercoaster that begins when decisions to change the configuration of your couple or family are made. There is much to sort through and it can be overwhelming to navigate the process without support and guidance. Even though you may agree that separation is best, there is still a host of feelings that need to be processed so that a more amicable relationship can be born out of the changes.

 

     This differs from more traditional couples therapy in that it is more solution-focused and sets out to accomplish specific goals that aid in the mediation process such as custody arrangements, co-parenting and non-reactive communication.
